The Coffee Cauldron: A Theoretical Brand

The Coffee Cauldron:
A Business Proposal
CJ 389 Creative Concepts: Visual Branding
The following is a comprehensive presentation of the branding work I have done through numerous Adobe programs throughout the past eight weeks. When tasked to create a brand to create deliverables for, I came up with the Coffee Cauldron—a themed cafe that's main goal was to feel welcoming to all customers.

Throughout this course, I created numerous branding items from the ground up by using Adobe Photoshop, Dimension, and Illustrator. This was a fun challenge for me, as I had very little experience with any of the programs before delving into creating these products.
Branding Assets
The first, and arguably most important portion of this presentation showcases the branding assets I created to use in my deliverables. These include the creation of my company colors, brand assets that were created through generative AI, radial repeats and patterns, and ultimately the potential business logos.
Company Colors Chevrons
Below are a few of my proposed company colors. I crafted these groups with the theme of my business in mind. I began this course in October, which ultimately influenced the theme of my business and the color schemes I created.
Radial Repeats and Pattern Creation
At first, I thought I would not use the radial repeats in my branding, but I quickly proved myself wrong. Created with my company colors, these can be found in most of my finished deliverables. The pattern was created using Photoshop with the radial repeats, and can also be found as a background or border to many of my deliverables. I found the radial repeats to be a fun way to integrate my company colors and add visual interest to the finished deliverables for the Coffee Cauldron.
AI Assets
Being new to Photoshop and Illustrator, I had never used the AI tools before. As a novice, this became an easy way for me to create visuals for my branding that I would not have been able to do otherwise with the constraints of my current skillset. These can be seen throughout all of the deliverables I created, including being the focal point of my logo.
Logo Creation
After finishing all of the building blocks shown above, I was finally able to create some potential logos for the Coffee Cauldron. The logo is the foundation of any branding, as it will ultimately be included in all branded documents for any given business. The branded documents I created are no different, as the logo can be found on everything from my business cards to the web design. I created six two dimensional logos using Illustrator, and one three dimensional logo using Dimension.
Finalized Branding
With all of the essential assets I created covered, the following is going to consist of all the finalized branding documents I have created.
Business Card
I am extremely happy with how my business card came out. I stuck with my company colors, but made the creative decision to darken some of them for this finished product. The front of the card focuses on the Coffee Cauldron as a business, while the back focuses on me as the "owner."
Web Design
We were tasked to create three different sizes of our web designs, including sizes for desktop, tablet, and smartphone users. My company colors are a bit brighter here, and the radial repeat pattern can be seen in the background.
Merch Items 3D Renders
An essential part of branding any coffee shop is what their products are going to be presented in. Adding branding to cups can act as (almost) free marketing through customers bringing their drinks into the outside world, where branded merchandise can increase brand awareness.
Outside of the disposable coffee cups, I also created renders of different mugs and water bottles that would be for sale!
Promotional Poster
Deciding to focus on the grand opening of the Coffee Caldron, I ensured that this poster provided all the necessary information while also ensuring that it remained visually pleasing.
Thank you for taking an interest in the Coffee Cauldron!
